Pueblos Magicos

Alamos ,Jalisco
Alamos is located in Jalisco, it is also known as “La Ciudad de los Portales” and its silver richness makes it special.
People there must be proud because of their hospitality, its history and mostly for its architecture.
This pueblo was known as “Real de la Limpia Concepción de los Alamos” and  “Real de los Frailes”, in its origins.


Huasca de Ocampo, Hidalgo

It is from Hidalgo, México. It has like 34 km of city of Pachuca the Soto and 16 km of Real del Monte  in la Sierra de Pachuca. It is is the northest border of la Sierra de Pachuca , the city is surrounded by plants cobered by low vegetation.
The most famous thing you would find there is the beautiful  ceramic in special the red one, all the pieces are made with many details  like shapes of animals, people or other specific things.

Tequila,Jalisco
It’s original name was from Tequila of Tequillan or Tecuila, it is located in the north-center region of Jalisco State.
Its main attraction is The Tequila Volcano, which remains inactive, but there you can spend your time in the museums.


San Cristobal de las Casas ,Chiapas

San Cristóbal de las Casas is located on Chiapas, its cathedral is one of the most beautiful in Mexico.
Although it is a city, locals keep their traditions and live their lifes if this were a village.
The Cervantine Festival is very popular, because its main porpuose is tu preserve the culture.

Valle de Bravo, Edo Mexico

Valle de Bravo has a gorgeous downtown where you can just walk and admire the culture that’s got this place.
The lake is one of the most beautiful attraction because while you are fishing with a rented boat, you can enjoy the sight that it has. This place has some places where you can eat while floating over the lake.


Bernal, Queretaro
Bernal was specially inhabited by spanish people, that´s whay its architecture is based on Spain structures. This name means peñasco (boulder).
This place has been being the location of some nacional and internacional movie Films, and the special attractions of this place are their festivals and fairs, such as “Fiesta de Santa Cruz” or the “ Equinoccio de Primavera”.



Coatepec, Veracruz

Coatepec means “Cerro de las Culebras”, (hill of the snakes). This place is known all over the World because of its cofee and the architecture, that`s why is a historical heritage of the nation.
This is a very confortable zone, because while you are walking down the street you’ll have a good sight and spend a great time with the family in so many places.

Comala , Colima
Comala is located in Colima, its name means “Lugar donde se hacen los comales” (place where the comales are made).
It is divided in two zones by a river call, Armería.

Bacalar ,Chetumal
Bacalar is located 35 km northest of the city of Chetumal, it is known as "Laguna de los Siete Colores",it is a very turistic ville for everyone when we talk about culture and history, it is also a great place for entertainment. Bacalar has a lagoon called “La Laguna de Bacalar”, this is their biggest atracción. It’s lagoon system allows the acuatic communication between Xul-Ha, Buenavista, Laguna Milagros, el Río Hondo and la Bahía de Chetumal population through Huay- Pix river.


Santiago, Nuevo Leon

Santiago, Nuevo Leon is located 36 km south from Monterrey , it’s 2 main festivals are the “Feria de Santiago” and “Feria de Manzanas” , both of them are realized on summer. It has a lot of things, like music , food , and many turistic places to visit.


Tepotzotlan , Edo Mexico
Tepotzotlán means “between humpbacks”, this meaning is because, the village is in the middle of lots of mountains.
The Temple of San Cristobal is a church that represents this place perfectly, because is full of history and culture, on its walls.
In this place you can find lots of restaurats, places to buy some crafts, and some other places to spend time.

Real del Catorce,SLP
It is a miner poblation and obviously turists  of San Luis Potosí . It is located in an atitud od 2750 msnm , it was inaugurated in april 2, 1901, denominated like Ogarrio in honor of the town of Spain.
The most important places in this area are The Real de Minas de Nuestra Señora Limpia and Concepción de Guadalupe de los Álamos de Catorce.
There are some people that says that it could exist a famous  “PUEBLO FANTASMA” in the center on the place of tourists and many people believe that.


Taxco,Guerrero

Place where you play ball or place the ball game? Taxco is the oldest mining center of the continent, this pueblo magico has existed since the time os the traditiomal working colony. It retains much of its colonial style, as well as the temple of Santa Pricsa (church of more than 250 years old, built in Baroque New Spain.

Tepoztlan, Morelos

Tepoztlan in Nahuatl means "Lugar del hacha de cobre"in Tepoz  was lived  and developed different cultures, is a magical city, for its picturesque cobbled streets as well as the variety of craft centers the main attraction is the hill that houses Tepozteco Indian ruins and mystery of this city.

Tapalpa, Jalisco

This beautiful place has the characteristic of people living of the state of Jalisco, Mexico. Located in the Southern Region, about 118 kmilometers from Guadalajara.
Its name comes from Nahuatl and means “Land of color place “ . the territorial extension is about 442.15 km2. The municipality has 16.057 inhabitants.

Patzcuaro, Michoacan
It is a city in the Mexican state os Michoacan. Categorized by the Ministry of Tourism as one of the magical town. Is head of the municipality of the same name. The etymology has been the subject of much discusson.
It is famous to be “place of stones”  and “place of joy” .
The original name was Txacapuansucutin- patzcuaro which translates as “heaven´s gate” or “place where the blackness is”.


Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato

It is famous called “cuna de la Independecia Nacional”  its full name is a city in the mecican state of Guanajuato . Located  in the Nort-central region of the territory  and it has an area of 1 590 km2.
The city is recognized by decree, both the local and the federal government, as the cradle os Independence of Mexico, as the court os the parish witnessed the famous Grito de Dolores.
Cuetzalan, Puebla
Cuetzalan City is a town nestled in the foothills od the Sierra Norte of Puebla. It is  a country seats os progress, one of the 217 municipalities in the state of Puebla. 183 km far from Puebla of Zaragoza, its capital.
The main feature of the city is that streets are large and sharps slopes. Was incorporated into the magic towns tourism system in 2002.


Izamal, Yucatan

Parras de la fuente, Coahuila

Founded in 1598 by Jesuit Father Juan Agustin de Espinosa with the name of Mission Parras. This place is the oldest winery in the Americas founded in 1597 by DonLorenzo García Wine, under the name of San Lorenzo and from 1893 bears the name of Casa Madero.
In the year of 2004 it was the first city of the north of mexico named as Pueblo Mágico, since the program was institutionalized Pueblo mágico in 2001, in the year of 2005 was followed Alamos, Sonora.

Cosala, Sinaloa

Cosala is a magical village of Sinaloa which is characterized by its great mix and the endless both traditions, its architecture is largely intact (90%) and is characterized by practically merge with the beauty natural.Su more attraction is the spectacle of the day before the day of the Virgin of Guadalupe, when millions of candles are lit in the windows ,streets to illuminate the passage of the Virgin through the streets of the city.

Real de Asientos is characterized mainly by mining identity is an ancient place with architecture dating from 1548 some of the most important events are Events of the Foundation, Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe celebrations in January, the Living Way of the Cross, Feast of Lord of Tepoz, Miner's Day
Cuizeo , Michoacan
Cuitzeo seated to the lake that bears the same name worthy of the reputation for its beauty is a village with tiled roofs and red and white colors add beauty to the facades which are reflected in the cobblestone streets that provide the typical rural architectures .



Jerez de Garcia Zalinas, Zacatecas

Jerez de Garcia Salinas was named so by the Spanish conquerors because of their strong resemblance to "Jerez de la Frontera" is an entity with greater weight in the state of Zacatecas for its economic importance and contribution to tourism as well as its beauty cultural, is characterized by the beauty of their farms, their fervent customs and traditions, legends and architecture. Its main events are "Spring Fair" because it creates plenty of excitement among the inhabitants of the city, and on Holy Saturday with the burning of Judas "that this event is given by the village fair opened.

Huamantla,Tlaxcala
Huamantla means "place of trees formed or together," the highlight of the city is the passage between the coast of the Gulf of Mexico and the Central Highlands because of its history as Hernan Cortez pitting Tlaxcala, and fortunately the Spanish made an ally in the conquest, the main event is on August 14: “Night that no one sleeps” where they worship the Virgin of Charity, preparing for the midnight procession of the Virgin Mary adorn the beautiful streets with carpets of flowers and sawdust .

Creel ,Chihuahua
Creel is a wonderful town located southeast of Chihuahua surrounded by mountains, bridges, tunnels, valleys, rocks, lakes, waterfalls, rivers and endless scenic spots. Creel was named in honor of Enrique C. Creel Chihuahua a distinguished politician discloses. What makes known Creel are the cliffs that has been home to the Taraumaras for centuries. The most famous canyon is the "Barranca del Cobre”.The best way to explore Creel is in its train.

El Fuerte, Sinaloa

El Fuerte is one of the 18 municipalities of the state of Sinaloa, Mexico; located in the north part of the state. At the north of “El Fuerte” we can locate the sate of Sonora, and in the south with the township of Sinaloa, at the west  with the town of Ahome and in the east with the town of Choix. The town hall is the city of “El fuerte”, located near the “River Fuerte”. Near 15% of the population in this town are mayos aborigines.

Tapijulapa , Tabasco
